The majority of his training has been in dressage, however he has successfully competed in eventing in USPC, and taken me through my C1 riding level. He has competed in jumping shows up to 2’9”-3’ classes, but has competed up to the 2’6” level in cross country. He also competed in barrel racing and pleasure in 4-H fairs and WIHA state competitions. Ashton has shown through second level dressage at NEWDA and USDF schooling and recognized shows, but he is schooling third level currently.... (read more) He has placed first and won the high point awards at each show in first and second level. I have done polocrosse, USPC games, and fox hunting with him too. Ashton has nearly traveled the country. We took him USPC National Championships at the Kentucky Horse Park in 2014, where we placed top 10 in first level dressage. In the summer of 2015, we took him to Ringgold, Georgia, for dressage training. Ashton is an excellent traveler and very easy-going; he loads, lunges, clips, bathes, ties, and rides alone or in a group without any problem. No vices and doesn’t spook. UTD on all shots, coggins, and farrier visits (he is barefoot). Very friendly horse: loves people and gets along well with other horses. He will take care of a beginner rider with a positive and willing attitude. Comes with tack.
