Nice mare, heatlhy and has had recent training at De Golyer horse training in Fallon Nevada. Not spooky and learns easy. She has hard feet and is easy on the fence, gets along with all other horses. This mare goes out on trail alone or with others and can go bareback. She is easy to tack. I am using a snaffle bit. She doesn't understand the round pen but is learning verbal commands. She is a smart horse and once she gets it she gets it. She will lunge, has a nice trot great at extension.... (read more) I believe she has some sorting experience but I am a trail rider so don't know what to do with that. She has had a vet check and has never had a lame step since I've had her. Just an easy keeper, trailers good. Her downside, doesn't like hot shoes but has very hard feet, the cold shoer did not have an issue. She could use more softness on the bit which is reflected in the price. I have a trainer working with her on the bit. outside of the arena you can see she is in a great head position. I had a few accidents and my posture is from an injury to my shoulder blades from a different horse. Kiki has never attempted to buck, bolt, rear or kick. she is sweet and looks to her handler/rider for guidance. I am currently riding a haflinger who is short and older. I have better and more recent photos on craigslist and a video of her responding to voice commands. she has really muscled up and has a nice sized rear and is a gorgeous copper. she has a multi colored tail but solid mane. she is located in red bluff. just a good solid young mare. You won't find a better horse for this price. I would keep her if I hadn't had the wreck but the haffie and me are a good pair. I have been working with obstacles and she has had tarps, feather boas, balls kicked under at and over her, I can crawl all over her and she will stand while I climb a fence to get on bareback. I am willing to negotiate on the price but not selling to a horse trader. I don't see her as a kids horse unless they have lessons, supervision etc because she is a little green she needs at least an advanced beginner. just for knowledge, she is not mean.
