Honey is a beautiful, 9 year old, chestnut mare OTTB. She is a friendly and smart and would make a great horse for someone who has regular time to put into her. In the past Honey has been used for racing (retiring in 2013) and some show, although in the last few years she has been solely used for trail riding. Honey likes attention and my young children enjoy her, but she is best suited for an intermediate or advanced rider. She can be a bit moody (marish) and will likely try to take advantage of a novice rider.... (read more) Honey learns quickly and responds well when working with her. I bought Honey in November 2015 with intentions to expand my small pasture, but will need to sell her since these plans have fallen through. I also am not finding as much time to ride and work with her as I had hoped. Honey has great potential and with regular attention, will be a gem! I also have her registration papers and her recent negative Coggins test.
