Wildfire is a 10year old Sorrel/flaxen mane mare. She is broke to ride. No buck, bite or kick. She is an ornery pony and very expressive! She is VERY heavy and I have her in a dry lot taking some weight off her. She is not foundered, but probably would have been if we hadn't gotten her. She gets trimmed Sat. 9/5/15 and has been wormed.
My kids jumped on her bareback and lead her around and rode her in a halter and never a bobble, she had been ridden a lot before.... (read more) Several things here: She would be good for a lead line for a beginner or very young child or a little older experienced child toddle around on. I might see her take advantage of a child who knows nothing (not in the bucking sense or run off just go where she wants too way) She does think she runs the show and she will prove it to any big horse that tries her, but once that is done, they are good. If she is loose and they try her it is ON and I wouldn't recommend a child being in the middle. She is so cute and funny though you can't help but love her, and don't mistake the above statement for being mean, she isn't she just thinks she is the boss!
My opinion is she doesn't need to be in with another dominant pony or horse, but any other she will get along with great.
She loads, ties, lifts feet etc. but was a bit spoiled and could stand to be tied up for a while and get some of her patients back. She doesn't try to run over you or anything like that. She came from Leach, OK where they bought her for a 2 year old to ride independent and she was a little much for her to ride by herself (picture attached). Call with more questions.
