Would consider trades for hay.
Registered 1998 Quarter Horse Mare. Rickys Poco Princess. She is approx 14.3 HH.
She was professionally broke as 3 year old and has been brood mare most of her life. I have had her for 2 years and have used her as a trail horse and she had a foal last year. She needs a refresher and I just came off mat leave and dont have the time unfortunately. She's been out on about 10 trail rides this year and is good with vehicles, quads, and dogs.... (read more) She is not suitable for kids or for beginners at this time. if someone put a month on her she probly could be. She has more whoa than go and would prefer to just follow along all day.
She is up to date on farrier, teeth, chiropractor and worming. As far as I know she has never been shod but I have never needed to, she has the most solid feet on any horse I have ever owned, and she is good for the farrier.
She has no health issues and is a super easy keeper.
She is wonderful to handle on the ground, lunges and long lines great. Not much phases this mare.
She is a great broodmare, foals out no problem on her own and is a great mom. Very easy to handle and will let you handle her foal with no issues. Last picture is her foal from last spring. She is open this year. Located just outside Stony Plain.
I am very open to offers considering the hay situation this year.
She picks everything back up really quick and would be a fast project for someone looking to get her back on track.
