Shasta is a sweet, well mannered mare, and is beautiful to boot! She comes from fantastic bloodlines and has produced some fine offspring. I have had her for five years now, during which time she has been ridden as a trail horse, but over the past year I haven't done much with her. I've kept her in hopes that my daughter would want to get into riding more, however it just doesn't consistently appeal to her. Shasta is well trained. I've been riding her some here and there when I have time, but I feel that she could better serve someone with more time for her, so I've decided to find her a new home.... (read more) She is in excellent condition, is a very easy breeder(and a great mamma), and could be bred for a 2016 foal. Shasta is UTD on vaccinations (including West Nile), worming, and hoof care. She's never needed shoes, and is always fine for trimming. She is quiet for doctoring and bathing, and trailers (even in little two horse trailers). She's sound, hasn't had any health issues, and is an easy keeper (currently she is on a combo of pasture, and stable mix). She is ideal for an intermediate rider who would like a good all around/trail horse. Shasta will come with her fly mask, winter blanket, feed trough, and her next dose of wormer (due in June).
