Cherokee would be a good horse for a beginner. He has more slow than go:) He will cross bridges, water anything you ask him to do. He is traffic safe. He does drive but he has not been hooked up to a buggy in over a year. Cherokee has a sweet sole. He loves to be groomed. He loads right into a trailer good for bathing and the ferrier. He does need some work staying in his gait. The girl that was riding him only rode at a walk for the past year so he really has not used his gaiting muscles that is why he needs work. He is a great horse with a great personality.
