Winding Brook Farm

I know I am only 17 years old, but my parents manage a barn and so I have seen a lot more in the horse world than a typical young adult. I have worked with my young mare from the ground up with natural horsemanship. I still take weekly lessons in Classical Dressage, Huntseat Equitation, and Hunter Jumpers. I have two certifications with my mare with the National Mounted Police Services, and I travel to help teach others with the main clinician. I love to help fellow horse enthusiasts with their horse-related problems, and I have taught ground manners to numerous horses.... (read more) I have hopped on nervous horses and brought them through fire in the first minute I have been on them while staying safe.
I focus on the equine brain, and I love learning about how and why horses do what they do. I am continuing my equine education in college and my end goal is to be a Mounted Police Officer. I constantly look for more ways to improve my horsemanship!
