Southwind Farms 14105 (est. 1977) is owned and operated by Brian and Darlene Janas. Our small farm is located in Middleport, N.Y. We are situated just 15 miles from the NYS Thruway Exit 48A. We breed our AQHA Quarter Horses from old Foundation blood lines including: King / Leo / Three Bars /Doc Bar / Poco Pine. Colors include: Blue Roan - Red Roan - Bay Roan - Dun . Each year we offer Weanlings and sometimes Yearlings and Brood Mares as well.

Training
About our Process: As soon as the foal is born we begin a program to handle each one every day to teach manners, respect, tolerance and human bonding. This gradually includes handling the feet, halter training and leading. This has provided a good solid base for developing good-natured, personable, well rounded horses that are ready to proceed in a training program of your choosing.
