Schmidt Performance and Rescue Horses

We have two companies. The first one is called Schmidt Performance Horses which we buy, sell, break, train and breed American Quarter Horses and Paint Horses.

The second company which is a non profit is called A Better Childhood, Inc which is an animal rescue service that takes in unwanted or abused animals with 100% no kill. Animals donated to this company are given to underprivileged children in our local community to use for 4H and several other types of projects.... (read more) We also strive to educate children and families on the responsibility of owning and taking care of animals. We give local children free riding lessons, educational information, the ability to own a pet that they would normally not be able to afford and most importantly do free horse rides and petting zoos for events in several counties.
