At Saddle Ridge Stable there are no shortcuts, gadgets, or gimmicks. By creating a solid foundation of training, each horse will be equipped to progress into any discipline that the owner should wish to pursue.
At Saddle Ridge Stable, with our natural approach to horse training, we specialize in starting horses of any age or breed as well as helping to restore broken lines of communication between horses and their riders, resulting in renewed relationships based on mutual respect and trust.
By putting a high priority on training that is relaxed, calm and safe, we never end a training session until we are certain that the horse has fully understood what is being asked of it and is more relaxed at the end of the session. Training is a step-by-step process starting with ground work and proceeding all the way through to the ride where the horse will understand how to turn, walk, trot, canter, stop, and backup on command.
