I have ridden since I was 5, and was lucky to have had access to the highest quality Instructors including George Morris, Lennon Gray, Simon Barber, Bengt Jenson and many others. I grew up in Louiville, Ky. So had access to lots of wonderful horses. My earliest riding was in Saddle seat on Saddlebreds and Morgans. I soon added on Pony Club and worked with all breeds but most especially Thoroughbreds. I showed Hunters and Jumpers, but shifted into combined training in my late 20's, and becoming predominantly focused on my true love, dressage, in my 30's.... (read more) I have mainly shown European breeds in Dressage, but have more recently found my beloved Thoroughbreds better suit my style. I began teaching in my teens and turned helping my friends get a horse to like jumping into a thriving business by the time I was 16. My earliest degree is Horsemaster from the British Horse Society. I am also a licensed Dressage judge of the USDF. I practice many healing techniques on horses including massage, stress point releasing, and spinal adjustment. The horses health and happiness are my primary goals. All my training techniques are in line with that goal in helping riders achieve success.
