Training: Dressage for Gaited Horses you say?
Yes, you can compete and the best thing about dressage is you are encouraging your horse to become the best athlete she/he can. Kathleenâ€™s approach is a softer gentler technique for both horse and rider. She uses the many talents she has acquired over the last 20 years for many great trainers. When she puts a horse on a lunge line, itâ€™s not to get the energy out or chase it around with a stick or bag. Kathleen wants the horse to become relaxed, balanced and have good cadence at a walk before we can move to any other gait. This is done with communicating your aids to your horse so she/he understands what you are asking. Everything starts from the ground up; this is why in hand training can transfer up to the next level which is riding.

Trail Access: Easy access at the end of our driveway. In order to trail ride you must be a current student.
