Dix Camelot Farms is a Full care horse boarding facility with specialized care available for wounds and other health issues. Mici Arnold Dix has experience with many different breeds of horses and has studied nutrition and uses this in the care of the horses. Individualized feeding programs are created with 2 - 3 meals a day to stabilize both obese and underweight horses. Included in our services are deworming every 2 months, grooming and "spa Time" with baths and hoof treatments.... (read more) We blanket in inclement weather with owner provided horse wear . Separate feeding pens for long term boarders are provided for peaceful and relaxed eating where we can also provide the special care they need in their own comfort zone. Large lush pastures with horse friendly fencing encloses all horse areas. Overnight short term board is available for horse transporters and travelers. Horses are treated with TLC, and receive daily fly spraying are monitored for any changes.We hear the welcoming nickers and see subtle changes as the horses become relaxed and enjoys the TLC they receive.The farm's farrier is here every 4 and 6 weeks and schedules can be made with him . D.C.F will assist in care by other professionals and you are welcome to use your own farrier and veterinarian.
