Brown Family Horse Boarding

We are just a family with an acreage in Ellsworth, IA that enjoys boarding horses on our property. We have been boarding horses for 14 years. Our daughter had horses growing up and showed them in 4-H. We are currently (June 2019) looking for one or two horses to board here. They need to be well mannered, well broke horses. The boarders arrange for their own hay purchase and unloading and also do all their own chores. In case of emergency or severe weather that prevents you from getting here, we have experience and would be happy to help at those times.... (read more) We have a nice 2 square acre horse pasture with a 3 sided morton building/barn the horses have access to plus an automatic, heated waterer. There is room in the barn to store tack too. We also have a barn cat, Stormy, who would be happy to catch mice to keep them out of your stuff :) My daughter can potentially give riding lessons if wanted. She has degrees in equine science and animal science and works with horses for her career.
