Amherst Equestrian Center is located on 25 acres of conservation land in beautiful and serene South Amherst. AEC is an owner occupied, owner operated boarding and training facility. We feature a thirty-stall barn, full sized indoor and outdoor riding arenas, and full-day pasture turn-out.

Ali (Wilson) Ingellis A USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist, she has trained up the leves and is currently competing in the FEI Intermidary divsion. And active competitor and instructor she rides with a variety of FEI trainers including Verne Batchelder of River House Hanoverians, Williston FL. Ali has had the pleasure of riding with Cindy Syndor of Braeburn Farms, NC, Bill McMullin, MA and Roel Theunissen of Atlanta Dressage, GA. Ali rode for the Mount Holyoke College IHSA and IDA teams 2004-2007. During those years both teams won multiple National championships. She specializes in dressage and eventing. She welcomes all dressage, eventing, and hunt seat clients who have a strong desire to learn and move up the levels.
Chrysanthi (Chrys) Gavagan is a preliminary eventer, and second level dressage rider. She has been riding from the age of four, and specializes in the training of young and green horses in the eventing and dressage disciplines. She is currently an active competitor at the Modified and Preliminary level and an instructor for dressage, show jumping and cross country of any level. She rode for Mount Holyoke College's IDA team from 2012 until graduation in 2016, captaining the team for two years and competing as an individual competitor at nationals in 2013 and 2014. Working along side Ali, Chrys hopes to help riders develop fundamental basis of riding, good communication between horse and rider, and strong equitation to develop the tools to be successful as a rider and competitor.
