Cottage At October Farm

Small 4 stall farm in historical Concord, Ma with stall available. October farm offers rough board $650/month, semi rough board $750/month or full board $850/month. Mares and geldings are both welcome. Beautiful and quiet setting on Monument Street. Full day turn out and optional 24/7 turnout if preferred. Horses have access to a water nelson in paddocks so always able to have fresh water in any weather. There is a shed for shelter in the pasture in case of inclement weather.... (read more) Large grass field for grazing and riding. There are some jumps that are set up in our field. There is also a small riding ring with a light. Access right to Estabrook trails from property which have great scenery, jumps and good footing to gallop along the river (not rocky). Stall that is available is large with mats. There is a tack room for your saddle, bridle and tack box. Grain, hay and shavings are provided. Horses get bran mash SUNDAY’s which is optional. Supplements are rider/owner responsibility. Morning and evening feeds and turn out is done by barn manager daily. There is a night check done every night that includes filling water buckets, giving extra hay and making sure barn is secure and all horses are safe. An added feature is that there is an in-ground pool on property that the boarders are welcome to use. This is great after a hot day! Cottage at October farm is a friendly, quiet and safe environment for your horse to join. I enjoy and love all animals and I will treat your horse like one of my own. I was a pony clubber and now a horse master in USPCA. Barn manager lives on premises and works at Emerson hospital as a nurse so is always close by. There is a caretaker on property that is around during the day. There is a vet that lives across the street just in case of an emergency. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
