For the past two months he has been on a training schedule of alternating 3 min trots with 3 min canters with a 1 min walk in between for a duration of 40 min. He did this 5 days a week. He is strong and stout and ready for faster exercise at the track. Note the uphill slope by the road. The rider typically has to grab the yoke to keep his seat. Six weeks speed training and you should have a winner at Hoosier.
