He is Homozygous for the Tobiano gene as were both his parents (Shelterwood Laboratories Tested) and he is UC Davis tested for the LWO gene because of his Tovero coat pattern even though he does not have any Overo in his immediate pedigree. He is confirmed to be N/N so he cannot throw a lethal white foal when crossed with Overo mares, even if they carry the gene. He is safe to breed to all Overo mares as well as Tobiano. He throws a high percentage of black and white foals.
