Que is a 2006 Canadian Warmblood colt by Raffaello (Raphael/Foxhunter) www.synergysporthorses.net out of Zydeco (Zodiak/Golden Reserve xx) pictured above
Que is a very good mover, he is well worth consideration as a dressage or hunter prospect. He is a leggy modern colt with a super way of moving. He has a powerful hind leg and nice reach from the shoulder He has an expressive trot with super elasticity and lots of articulation of the joints. He has a beautiful head and neck, strong loin connection and completely correct conformation. Very inquisitive and people oriented, he is extremely easy to work with. Lovely free jump, careful, sensible and good form!
His sire, Raffaello is a 16'3 imported Hanoverian. In his 100 day test, Raffaello scored 9's for his temperament, willingness to work, ability to work, character and jumping, placing him 4th out of 37 stallions in the jumping component of his test. The judges at his 100 day test in Germany stated "He is very careful and has tremendous scope over fences. He is also a nice type and very good mover". Raffaello further was selected by committee as one of the stallions for the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program in North AmericaVideo available.
In 2005, his first season in competition Raffaello competed successfully and won his first jumping Championship cooler, as well he was in the ribbons scoring over 74% at the Pacific Regional Dressage Championship show.
His dam Zydeco is by the well known stallion Zodiak (Ramiro) who himself competed in both the upper levels of dressage AND jumping! He was known for his wonderful disposition as well as his exceptional performance ability. Zydecko has not been started under saddle but she has often come in to play over fences! She has incredible form & scope! As well she is a big & elastic mover! She could have easily had a very good performance career! But her value as a broodmare is evident in the quality of her offspring.
Que has been lightly worked with and is comfortable working thru the chute. He is currently jumping 4' in the chute with consistent text book form and absolutely no effort for him. Definitely a candidate for the Large Hunters! He is big, solid & mature looking and is ready to go to work! With his STUNNING unique rose color and his over all elegance & ability, he is a top prospect for any discipline!
