Winterfrost Farms Ride-A-Rescue program was started to help support our rescue horses, while continuing their rehabilitation. Our trail rides use only healthy rescue horses that are ready for a job. This program was designed to be a fun community activity that is helpful as well. Not only do you get to go out on a trail ride, your ride gives a horse that once had no future, a job and a purpose. How is that for a win-win?
Anyone can ride; we will show you how! We provide trail rides all year long, anytime during the week or weekend. Just let us know when you want to hit the trails, and we will get you out on horseback! Rides range from one to two hours in length and some take you right down to the New River!
