Description:
We have owned horses collectively for over 20 years. We train all of our own horses, and get them ranch-ready and kid-safe!
All of our horses can be ridden by children without supervision, and also be able to do their ranch and cattle work the same day.
If you need some help, just a few pointers, or would liek to become knowledged in horse training to do it yourself one day, give us a call or e-mail us!
We charge on average:
$50/day (If you only need three days or so of work)
$100/week
$175/two weeks
$300/month
This is all at YOUR ranch and you are a part of the training process so you can learn to work with your horse as well.
Discounts if you got your horse from a rescue or BLM.
Company / Farm:
Jk Farming - We are a small family farm not out to make millions, but rather to be a sustainable keystone in our community. We started in Wisconsin with our cattle and horses and pigs. We have moved to Northern California where do most of our business now. We run about 60 head of beef cattle (registered and commercial) herefords and Texas Longhorns, along with several ranch horses, including paints, quarter horses, appaloosas, POAs, and a thoroughbred stallion. We still have pigs, although our numbers are considerably down from the 300+ pigs to our mere three adults.
Again, we are happy to do business with new clients and friends... All of our proceeds go to helping our community (and some back to us to feed and pay for the animals we love).
