SADDLE UP RANCH is a Non-Profit Christian Based Riding and Leasing Facility in Queen Creek, RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE HORSESHOE EQUSTRIAN CENTER on Riggs and Hawes, where I not only BOARD horses, but lease out my own horses to others who would like to be able to enjoy and share in the life and love of horses without actually having to afford one of there own.
I offer lease agreements on my horses for $150/mo. which would allow you to come out and ride ANY of my horses as often as you want all month long. Here at saddle Up Ranch, which is much different from most other leasing facilities, you are not just assigned to one horse, but we all take turns riding and getting to know each and every one of them here, to ensure they all get equal love and attention. In addition, every horse you ride teaches you to overcome different challenges, as they each have their own little quirks and ticks, allowing you to become a much better and more experienced rider.
My horses are used for guided trail rides and riding lesson where I need to be able to trust them with all different levels of riders. Some of them are even used for search and rescue, mounted security, etc, just to give an indication of how well mannered and trained they are. As I get more leasers, I bring in more horses, and of course every horse must fit the criteria of being TOTALLY SAFE around traffic and for anyone to ride.
Included in the lease, I supply all the tack/saddles for the horses so you do not have to own your own, and personally ride out with you to show you all of the trails. You can litterally ride for miles and miles in every direction, leaving right from my ranch.
Just to give you an idea of the money you will save in a Lease Agreement, if you came out for either a guided trail ride or a riding lesson at $30/hour or $50/for 2 hours. (cheapest rates around), in only 3 times riding here for 2 hours each, your total spent would be $150. Whereas with a lease agreement, you can come out and ride any horse you want, (currently 9 to choose from), 7 days a week if you wanted to for that same price. Another way to look at leasing, which is why many people prefer it over owning, is it is just like owning your own horse or horses without ALL the expense, and with leasing, which goes month to month, you can start up and stop at any time, instead of having to pay for them 12 months/year no matter if they are being used or not, or regardless of any hard times you may face financially.
We are always looking to welcome more riders and friends to fellowship and enjoy in the awesome thing we have going on here at the Saddle Up Ranch, sharing in the love of horses and God. The more, the merrier!!! We get the horses out and ride almost every day, and I am within riding distance to the both the West Entrance to the San Tan Regional Park and the Queen Creek Wash, as well being right across the street from the Sanoqui Wash and the Horseshoe Equestrian Park. It is also only a short ride from my place to San Tan Flats and the San Tan Cafe, where both have hitching post available for the horses while you can enjoy a meal or drink.
I have a very nice set up with large 24x24 pens with shade, a turnout area, a nice arena and round pen, wash rack, bonfire pit for BBQ's, etc. We have riders of all ages that come and go as they please all day long, and more than anything... we have LOT'S OF FUN!
