Description:
We offer outside training for Morgans and Morgan crosses. Our daily business includes using horses for ranch work. We focus on the Ray Hunt and Tom Dorrance inspired method of natural horsemanship and follow the classical dressage principles of developing an athlete. All our training horses are used on the ranch and for cattle work. We will also be doing some limited showing in the future, mostly in performance and working events. References available. We offer:
· Ground work for young or spoiled horses
· Colt starting
· Refreshing a horse that has been out to pasture for a while
· Finishing a horse for reining, dressage, jumping, ranch work/ranch roping, or trail
· Specialty training or problem solving such as trailer training.
· Consultation and coaching over the phone or in person
Company / Farm:
Hazelrun Morgans - My goal as a breeder/trainer is to produce an internationally competitive horse in dressage, reining, and the cattle events. I believe that the Morgan Horse has a lot to offer as a top level competitor. It is my goal to produce an international Morgan in the Baroque body style. I believe that the older body style is more conducive to the collection, power, and roundness that is required for the FEI levels of dressage and world class reining. |
