Riding instruction available at your barn or home! I love to teach all types of riders!
I am an Antares Sellier sponsored rider with 15 years experience riding and teaching under the tutelage of international Jumper and Dressage riders.
I recently moved to the area from NY where I have been a full time trainer and coach for the last 6 years.
I am capable of teaching beginner to advanced hunter/jumper lessons for adults and children using cavalettis and basic dressage techniques to balance horse and rider. I encourage a multitude of flat work to master jumping skills. Over fences I help riders build confidence in themselves and their horses by gradually bringing them up the levels in a methodical, practiced and calm program. I can teach up to 3rd level jumpers.
I am also competent in training up to 2nd level Dressage using positive reinforcement training to benefit horse and rider communication as well as using centered riding techniques to convey the importance of balance and understanding.
With my novice riders I help bring out their confidence through lessons that encompass goal making, positive thinking and appreciation for their horses.
I have coached numerous children and adults in the hunter, jumpers, equitation and dressage rings at rated and non rated shows up and down the East Coast.
