We are now accepting deposits for 2015 Summer Riding Camps.

I - Mixed Youth Intermediate, July 6 -10th, 2015 (Absolute Beginner 8 -11 years to be offered at a future date, please check copper t website)

II - Absolute Beginner 12 - 16 years, July 20 - 24th, 2015

III - Advanced Beginner - riders should have walk/trot and some canter experience, August 10th - 14th, 2015 (testing camp and weekend following week if demand exists) (2 spots left only as of January 17th)

IV - Adult Confidence Building Weekend - April 3 - 5th, 2015

V - Adult Only Weekend - June 12th - 14th

VI - Intermediate Week long camp - date not set, if demand exists we will run an intermediate camp helping riders prepare for horse show season. Contact Val directly. Topics: grooming and braiding, classes and preparation, hauling, advanced training and preparation for shows. Mock "show" at end for practice.

$100 deposit is required to save your spot, $50 of which is refundable if you cannot participate.

Week day camps run from 9 am to 4:30 pm (advanced drop off and late pick up available) Be prepared to ride twice a day! Helmets are provided, riders should bring boots with a one inch heel. Participants should bring a hearty lunch, and lots of water to drink (or a container for water), layered clothing, bug spray and sunscreen! Family discount available for siblings attending same camp.
Outside horses are welcome with Negative Coggins test. You must clean your own stall and provide feed and water. If you need a horse for your camp experience please talk to Val so we can arrange a good match!

5 day Week camps: $375 plus GST

3 Day Weekend Camps: $250 plus GST (Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday, Saturday night pot luck supper)
All camps have full day programming with horses and age appropriate activities. Art and crafts for kids, cross training, and goal specific workshops for adults.

Adult Intermediate with Val - Riders must have basic control of their horses at walk trot and canter, working towards specific goals in dressage or jumping. Could be interested in challenging new areas of discipline, or overcoming issues that may have built up over time. Problem solving and individual attention is key in these weekends. You can bring your own horse, or borrow one of ours. Adult curriculum is based on individual goal setting.

Advanced Beginner

Riders must have mastered posting trot, may have challenged canter gait. Equine Canada Rider Level Testing camp offered if demand exists. The test day will be open to outside participants. Contact us if you wish to test but not partake in the camp, attending with your outside Instructor. Advanced preparation for this testing is mandatory (not necessarily with us), speak with your Instructor directly about the pre-requisites.

Week long, full day (9 - 4:30 pm with early drop off and late pick up available) riding day camps offered this summer! Each camp includes two riding lessons each day, horse related art, stable management, horsemanship and lots of fun!!!! No experience necessary, but some camps are offered for Riders of more experience too! Only a few minutes southeast of Saskatoon. Special adult confidence building sessions supported by yoga for riders and video feedback! Concentration in adult classes will be on individualised goals.

Intro Weekend Camp No experience required separate weekends for youth and adults. Check website for exact dates. Learn basics of horsemanship, handling on the ground, and ride in two lessons every day! Focus on safety, foundation of horsemanship, care of horses and equipment. Horse related art classes included and great games for kids! Early drop off and late pick up available by special arrangement. Lots of learning, lots of fun! Watch your kids fall into bed at night after a great day or learning, exercise and fun!

Youth Week Long Camp - Any age Monday to Friday 9 – 4:30 pm Advanced try out or Intro camp recommended. Riders must be able to tack own horse, control horse off the lunge line. Riders may prepare for this camp by taking regular riding lessons or participating in an introduction to riding weekend camp. May bring own horse. Two riding lessons per day, advanced theory including conformation, form to function, breeds, video tape riding analysis, horse first aid, husbandry, breeding selection, behavioral problems. Great place to identify roadblocks to success, fine tune skills and personal goal achievement.

Adults Weekend Camps- 3 day riding experience, individualized programming. Confidence Builder Program includes lunging, theory, video taped sessions with feedback for skill development, horsemanship/dressage and jumping if desired. Program catered to persons wanting to develop their horsemanship and riding skills in a full time supportive program. May bring own horse, or ride one of ours. Focus on safety and positive learning environment. Sorry overnight camping not available, nice campground nearby if needed.


Driving from Saskatoon, travel south on Highway 11 to Baker Road (about 2 miles south of the city). At Baker road turn left, or East. Go approximately 4 miles, to the forth Range Road #3043. Turn left (North). You will see a large white building with a green roof on your left, this is the indoor riding arena. Travel on #3043 for about a quarter mile, look on the left hand side for a white mailbox with #40. Please call ahead if visiting. Thanks :)

Nice environment for adult riders, new or returning to the sport. Breeder of Canadian Warmblood Horses. Member SDDA, SHF, EC, and CWHBA. Friendly atmosphere, and great quality of life for your equine friend. Comfortable, heated six stall barn. 70 x 120 Indoor riding arena. Newly fenced paddocks with alternating pasture turnout available. Large outdoor riding arena, smaller well fenced training pen. New outdoor arena recently constructed (100 by 250) All new horses enter via isolation pen. Training track and easy access to trails. Please call ahead if you wish to board your horse, space is limited. Breeding and training of Canadian Warmblood Horses (European bloodlines) for dressage, hunter and jumper with temperament the first quality sought.
