Our professional staff has top experience in working with horses that have sustained injuries. We work closely with your veterinarian to help improve your horse's condition to get him or her back on track to their career. Whether your horse is racing fit, showing or just a pleasure horse, you can be sure he or she will recieve the best of care at our facility. Our staff is well versed in many techniques to heal your horse, administer medication and provide overall care.
Included in daily cost is:
- EQUINE SWIMMING (IF PERMITTED)
- Stall and Private Turnout (if not on stall rest)
- Stalls are cleaned daily and bedded heavy with straw.
- Stallrest (if needed)
- Handwalking (if permitted) daily.
- Hay and Grain Twice Daily
- Changing bandages and administration of supplements or medications
- Daily Blanketing (if needed)
- Grooming
Company / Farm: Maui Meadow Farm - Centrally located in the Mid Atlantic region, Maui Meadow Farm is convenient to all major tracks and only ten minutes away from New Bolton Center, making it an ideal recovery and rehabilitation facility. We feature a 3/8 mile track and for an alternative training method, Maui tailors swimming programs in its year-round 60' by 34' heated swimming pool.
We can cater to any need, show, event, race or the pleasure horse no matter the injury, or even "problem" riding horses. Each horse has it's own customized program, allowing your horse to reach it's fullest potential.
