I am a graduate of the Horsemanship Dentistry School, run by Dr. Tucker. This has always been my dream job and I am so happy to be fulfilling it! As a child I shadowed our equine dentist as often as possible, just in awe of how he was able to work in these horses mouths, no sedation (for the majority)! I have been lucky enough to shadow him more as an adult. After graduating the program in Florida, I came home to New York ready to help as many horses I can.... (read more) I believe that most horses are willing to be worked on with out sedation and that by using hand tools, I am able to get a feel for where the horses is having discomfort or pain. By putting my own hands into your horses mouths, I am able to feel what they feel. I can feel broken teeth, sharp point, hooks and ulcers that are causing discomfort and possibly even behavior issues. I am looking forward to meeting you and your horses and to help them continue to be happy, healthy members of your family, or to help your new members become comfortable in their new home!
