The ideal candidate would be just out of high school or college and have experience riding or working at camps, lesson barns, or show stables, mostly Hunters & Jumpers or Eventing. Alternate income is recommended, as this job has NO PAY. Excellent opportunity for the ambitious rider looking to move up and learn. Duties may include: feeding, turn out, stall cleaning, water, grooming & tacking up, exercise riding, longeing, clipping, mane pulling, general barn cleanliness. In return you may get: free room for you or board for your horse, daily lessons for you, showing and clinics, a $1,500/month value, depending on the amount of work done per week.
