I've grown up on a farm in Indiana. We raise around 60 calves every year, we also have feeder cattle. We used to get bottle baby lambs every year, now my aunt has hair sheep. I've had dogs and cats all my life. I've had experience with pigs, fish, turtles, mice, hamsters, chickens, and ducks. For the past 10 years I've had horses and donkeys. I've had one horse born on the property. I breed miniature donkeys and have had six foals born on the property. Being around so many animals there has been injuries to them. So I have learned how to stay calm in emergencies.
I've shown in 4-H for ten years plus mini. I showed cattle the whole time, pigs for 5 years, and horses for 4 years. I went to a 4-H animals science camp in 2010 at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. I was in FFA for 5 years and have gotten 2nd in Indiana State Equine Science Entrepreneurship proficiency in 2010, and 4th in 2011.
In high school I'd taken the Animal Science class, Biology 1, and Chemistry. I have completed one year at Hocking College in Nelsonville, OH for Wilderness Horsemanship. I have completed and passed Wilderness Riding 1 and 2, Horse Handling and Management, Horseshoeing 1, Leathercraft, Horse Packing, Farm Equipment and Maintenance, Equine Anatomy and Conformation, Equine Health Care 1, and General Biology.
