Fred is a 6 year old registered appendix quarter horse with an outstanding pedigree! Doc O’ Lena, Colonel Freckles, Two eyed Jack. He was started and trained for 2 years by a professional very well broke holds his head set beautifully. Fred has an amazing pleasure jog, has a lot of reining training, goes off of leg pressure; and has a great whoa!
He ran futurity barrels as a 4 yr old and limited outings as a 5 yr old, very fast in between and really quick turns! Outside of the run he doesn’t act like a barrel horse, even quiet to warm up at shows. He could also easily walk into the reining ring and place in the novice or green as grass!
He is one of a kind and I love him to bits but I just don’t have the time to show. He has no vices, he doesn’t kick, he doesn't bite, he is great for the farrier, he loads, and will stand there to be bathed or hosed down. Fred gets along well with everyone, all around easy keeper.
