Ziggy is a 16 year old TB. He is currently jumping 2'6" and has done very well at shows. We did the Steeple Ridge VHJA circuit this year and took Champion twice along with Circuit Champion for the 2008 year. We also did a couple schooling shows where the classes had anywhere from 14-20 people in them and we took Champion and High Point Reserve Champion for the day. He has proven himself in the hunter ring and flat ring. He is great at pleasure, extending in roadhack, being collected in equitation, and NOT spooking in trail. We trailer to a local park weekly for long trail rides. Ziggy goes through rivers, bridges, mud, rocks and nothing seems to phase him. He loads, ties, clips, bathes, cross ties, and longes like a gentleman. He has been an advanced lesson horse in the past and is safe for any level rider but has excelled with a single owner/rider who is more experienced and can push him to his potential. Once he bonds with his rider, he aims to please. He is amazingly forgiving and will make a great horse for someone heading towards the hunter show ring, schooling or just sticking to the trails. He would be a great addition to any lesson program but would benefit from being ridden every so often by the trainer or experienced students. His knowlege would be beneficial to a beginner but also appreciated by an intermediate rider. Although I don't ride western he knows how to neck reign, lope and jog. He could be a great western pleasure horse. He has never been lame and has a history of great health. He is UTD on all shots and wormer. He doesn't kick and since I have owned him, I have never fallen off. As long as you take good care of him, he will take good care of you!!!
