16.2 hand (close to 16.3) Dark Bay TB Gelding. Lots of body to take up your leg. Was a 3 day eventer and "jumper" with his previous owners. We started him as a hunter last fall (he's a stunning mover and has classic form over fences). . Has free jumped 4'3" at home. Solid dressage horse with lovely gaits. Excellent extensions and collections. Shoulder in, half pass ( trot and canter), counter canter, etc. . Hacks out quietly alone or with company. He trailers, ties, etc. He does crib but it's controlled with a strap. Will change leads on command, but is auto over fences. He listens to voices commands ( walk, trot, canter on the lunge line). He has great ground manners, and is very quiet for a TB. Gets along great with others, can be turned out with anyone. We've never had any issues with this. This horse is a true packer. Would be GREAT for lessons! Great at shows. Settles in easily, and doesn't requite a ton of prep.. Call to make an appointment to try him. Safe enough for a beginner with basic skills. Would be great A/O horse. Open to reasonable offers to a show home. Consideration to pony clubbers! I show appaloosas natinally, and took this guy on as a "project".. however my project horse turned out to be a finished horse! He doesn't deserve to stand around all day, needs a home that will use him!
