"Charlie" is a seven year old Haflinger-cross. He ties, loads, bathes, and stands for farrier. He's an easy keeper and has great hooves. He had 120 days of professional training last spring. He's mainly been ridden dressage He has a great turn on the forehand and leg yield. Three good gaits with clean transitions. Responsive to the leg and soft in the bridle. He's a big, flashy mover! Careful over ground poles, plan on putting him over cross rails soon. Might make a nice novice eventer, cart pony, or 4-H horse. His owners love him, but simply don't have time for him. Due to his big gaits, he requires a rider with a secure seat and educated hands.Will consider a lease agreement to the right person.
