I'm selling a bay 12-yo-old Dutch Warmblood-Thoroughbred cross specializing in hunter-jumpers, jumpers, and has some dressage training. He's been in a training program for the past two months, as I am really not able to ride anymore.
He easily jumps a 3' course, and has jumped higher. I've showed him in hunters where he was the 2006 Tucson Hunter Jumper Association Champion in both 2'6" hunters and equitation. He's also showed jumpers with me in the last few years.... (read more) The last couple months he's been showed by younger riders in some local shows. He loves having a job to do and does well in regular training and riding. He's a great around the barn horse and would be fabulous for both showing and/or just something to lesson on. He loads, clips, ties, trailers, stands calmly for the vet and farrier, and everything in between. He does get a bit looky in new situations, but calms down with regular work. He has no health issues and is an easy keeper. He has an easygoing temperament. He really is a fabulous guy, and I am sad to see him sold, but I know he will make a great mount for someone who loves riding.
He's been a fabulous horse for 12 years, but after having a baby, I just don't have time for him anymore. I'm negotiable on price and am motivated to sell. I really want him to go to a good home to someone who will love him as much as I do.
I've had Tucker since he was born on my farm in Indiana, out of Seattle Rob (Sire) and All That Jazz out of Zenith.
