Additional Comments:
Cherokee is a sweet chestnut sabino paint filly. She has a big blaze and 3 high white socks. She was born here on our farm in June 2007 and due to financial issues her owner has released her to our rescue to find a good home for. She has had NO training but as of today we will start halter breaking her, but will come up to you and is friendly and sweet. She was weaned but is still very attached to her mom at times, but is fine when her mom leaves for 8 hour trail rides and such, they still just hang together in the field. Depending on when she gets adopted out she will lead and tie. Shes a quick learner and a smart filly. Shes never been sick or even cut or injured. Her mom is a great SMOOTH riding horse that we can put any beginner on and feel safe with, her gaits are butter smooth and safe enough for even therepeutic riding. This is a great chance to adopt a wonderful little filly, put a year of groundwork on her and start her undersaddle next summer. Shed be great for any age rider to start, shes easy to handle and is not spooky, has a good personality and loves attention. If you are interested feel free to contact me, we have an adoption application you will need to fill out to answer some questions for us and we will adopt Cherokee out to the best home available.
