UPDATE: I just lowered her price from $800 to $600, I need the money more than the pony at this moment. If I have to keep her and work her and feed her for very long the price will go back to the original price.
Shelby is a 5 year old mare, approx. 13h tall. She has been broke and then let sit for several months. I would not call her a finished pony and would not be right for a "Beginner" pony unless an adult spent a little more time on her.... (read more)
She doesn't buck, bite or kick but needs some help in the manners department. Since she was left to her own after being broke she got spoiled and thinks she is in charge. I own her because a friend needed money and she sold her to me. I can keep her and do the work myself or sell her as is for a little less.
She WILL make a great pony but just needs more time and some ground manners put back into her.
She is sound, not foundered with good feet and Gorgeous. Has a little Arabian looking face and great gun metal grey color. A great size for a step up pony or a very small adult. She is not spooky and is very responsive, the following pictures are of my 9yr old daughter riding her and they got along great.
She will tie and load and has a great start and would be good at play days and trails.
There is an ad on Craigs List for her with more pictures, Tulsa listing, Farm and Garden Section and pull her up by name "Shelby" or look under Pony or the town of Coweta.
