We are offering this extremely nice, well bred mare bred to a red roan son of Little Peptoroani, an NCHA money earning son of Peptoboonsmal. On the top side of Pistol's pedigree she is a granddaughter of one of cutting industry's all-time greats, Peponita, owned and shown by Matlock Rose. Peponita was a two-time NCHA World Champion, a three-time NCHA Finals winner, a three-time AQHA World Champion, and earner of $126,221 NCHA and 74 performance points. Peponita is by the great Peppy San, NCHA World Champion. Peppy San isn't the first horse to claim the NCHA World Championship, King's Pistol claimed that honor in 1957 (he is also on the top side of our mare's papers) but Peppy San is the first NCHA World Champion to sire a World Champion, and the only other horse to claim that is his full brother Mr San Peppy, sire of Peppy San Badger. Peppy San was also ridden by Matlock Rose and earned nearly $50,000 NCHA and had 26 halter and 180 performance points and is in the Hall of Fame. Pistol is out of our daughter of Freckles Playboy and Granddaughter of Doc Bar, which makes Pistol a granddaughter of Freckles Playboy as well. Freckles Playboy has definately proven himself as a great cutting horse and a great cutting horse sire. He earned $59,975 and produced earners of $26,655,587 making him #2 All Time Leading Cutting Horse Sire. Pistol also has a January 2008 stud colt at her side. He has a coon tail, roan in his flanks, and a blaze face. He is by our stallion Blaze Phazed, a son of Smartest Little Pep (earner of over $70,000 NCHA) by Peppy San Badger and Blaze is also a grandson of Smart Little Lena. On his bottom side, Blaze's dam is an own daughter of Solanos Peppy San, who has won over $17,500 NCHA and is a producer of $185,829.87. You can't beat the pedigree on the mare or the colt.
