He has been ridden western on trails. He can be ridden with a hackamore or a bit. He needs a confident rider to keep him in his gait and moving forward. He has smooth, long strides and can cover some ground. He would be great for someone who is an avid trail rider or would work him daily. He has great ground manners and enjoys being groomed. He is an easy keeper on pasture and mixed grass hay and minimal oats/pelleted mix once per day. Hardy-never been blanketed in the winter. I don't have enough time to ride, family needs.
