"Amery" (named after her home town of Amery, WI) is a gorgeous black and white Percheron Paint cross mare. UTD on shots, worming, hoof care and has a current negative Coggins. Great feet, straight nice legs and gorgeous movement! Very sweet and smart. LOVES attention and being with people. She has a very long and thick black mane and tail. Her gorgeous black coat is accented perfectly by the white draped over her shoulder, 4 white stockings and a little white star on her face. She has a ton of feathering on her feet, as well. Amery has her video uploaded from her first month of training (her video is shared with "Beau" - see her in the first half). At least with this you can get an idea of what her training entails. Our horses do not spend a great deal of time in an arena as that is just not what we focus on, however she does have a nice w/t/c and will pick up a canter easily out on the trail when asked. We do not train for any specific discipline at this stage. We work strictly on getting a willing and safe riding horse in all situations.
Amery would be very well suited for Eventing, Field Hunter, Hunter Jumper, Dressage, etc. She is a great mover and a very fast and eager learner. Of course, she is an extremely well mannered and very safe mount that would also make an excellent "husband horse" or great trail horse for the entire family! She is currently in Minnesota at our training facility and will be available there for viewings/sale until she is brought back to our sales barn in Cincinnati (which should be end of July 08).
