14.3h palomino quarter house mare, 9yrs young. Has had shots in august. no coggins. I just purchased this mare 4/5months ago so I've only ridden her about 5 times with things getting cold quick. I lunge her in the round pen before rides. When I got her the people before me told me she trailored fine. She will be getting her hooves trimmed in a week or two. She stands for the saddle, bridal, brushing, and hooves. She is not for a beginner. I was told from the lady I bought her from that this mare was a lesson horse I also was told she wasn't worked with for a year till I got her.... (read more) This mare is sweet and will make someone a nice horse. I'm a tall girl and she is to short for me. May trade for a gelding or possibly a mare who is dead broke for my boyfriend he prefers a quarter horse and at least 15h. Let me know if you have any questions. Text or call.
UPDATE 11/30/14 Whinny went for her first trail ride today through 70-80 some acres wooded, creeks, and open corn fields. She did spook (jumps in place a little) when she seen the deer but was soon very intriged in the deer. Took a little coaksing to go through the creek, for her first time she did great. We went walking through a muddy plowed field and Whinny was plowing right through it. During the ride going up and down hills, walking, trotting, cantering, water, mud, etc her stanima was never lowered. This mare could go all day long. She would make an amazing trail mare, even trail competition. The more she is worked with the more I can see the greatness she has in her. You could see that she was enjoying herself and loving the new adventure.
