Doc is as gentle as they come, been there, done that type. He was underweight when we got him, has put on approx 100 lbs, no special needs except he needed to be fed. Is on green grass and purina feed now and doing great, still needs another 100 or so. Anyone can ride, saddles quiet, loves to be groomed, never kicked, bucked or acted mean in anyway. Neck reins well, picks feet up easily for trimming. Is a little tender on the front, would do well with shoes, does fine in soft terrain barefoot. This older man is perfect for someone wanting to learn or for a youth. Hard to find these kind of horses. Have pics and video of my daughter riding him. Will sell to good home only.
