Additional Comments:
She is half Percheron, half QH. These photos were taken June 11th. This young mare has good bone, clean joints and strong feet. She has not been fit up, yet even now presents a nice picture in her conformation. As you can see, her head and neck are not too drafty. She has a nice free movement.
She is Coggins negative, and UTD on all shots, worming, etc. She had her teeth floated by our vet in March, and sees the farrier regularly every six weeks. We would be happy to provide a copy of her vet check.
Her temperament is relaxed and friendly, and she bathes, clips, loads and trailers well. She is well started under saddle and has a bit of harness training. She has the occasional bit of teenager stubbornness, so is not ready for a novice rider yet.
However, a trainer that has ridden her believes she will be a good candidate for less experienced riders with a more training. (Or the experienced rider who has ridden enough "challenging" horses and you're over it at this point.)
Reason for sale: This filly came to us as a part of a package sale in January. We are starting this young mare's mother in carriage training soon. We like this horse, but are thinking one horse in training at a time might be enough. You'll be able to see the pretty mare she's out of though if you come look at her.
Call 512-659-0591 to schedule an appointment to see her. Please, only serious buyers inquire. If we schedule an appointment to show her to you, please keep it.
Shipping Notes:
We are located between Austin and Dripping Springs and would be willing to trailer her up to about 50 miles to your location at no charge. We may be able to personally deliver her up to a distance of 200 miles for the cost of transportation, or can recommend a local equine transportation service for greater distances.
