Additional Comments:
We have used Major Mohican in our draft hitch for 4 years. He has gone to all of the 13 county fairs in our area, the NY state fair, the keystone international horse show, and the national hafliger horse show and competed in the halter and the draft driving division from the cart class all the way up to the 6-horse hitch. He is used to all of the typical fair noises, people running around, and loud noises. He loves to get baths and doesn't at all mind the clippers and getting his shoes on. We started riding him a year ago and he took to it very well. He is a very fast learner and loves to play in the fun show type riding games. He is trail broke and very friendly. He would be great for an intermediate rider who wanted someone to pal around the trails with or an advanced rider who wanted to take him to shows. He never spooks or does anything stupid. We have been riding him western but he would be a great pleasure horse too. "Major" is out of Catherine EFRH (a mare by Marvellon Van Bermeteyn)and by Major League NTF. The only reason we are selling him is because we have too many horses and have some young ones coming on that we want to be able to give more time to. Major is up to date with all of his rabies, tetanus, wormer, and health papers. He gets along very well with other horses. We have a lot more pictures of him that we can send to you via email if you send us your address.
