This big 8 year old Registered Quarter Horse Gelding can carry you all day, whether over mountainous trails,working stock or in the ring. Gus stands quietly, loads well, has good hard feet, and excellent ground manners. He loves children and has no vices. Raised on the Haythorn Ranch, he was roped on, but since I don't rope, he's out of practise. He's cowy when sorting/penning and gets along well with other horses on the trail. He has been started in dressage, has a soft mouth, smooth gaits, and is responsive to the leg. His good confirmation and unusually dark red color are an eye-catcher!
