(Rosie is SALE PENDING)
Rosie is a very sweet and personable mule. She will greet me when she sees me coming. She is 9yo sorrel molly mule, stands at 13.2 and built well. She used to be used to sort cattle in the stockyards in Texas two years ago and has set in the pasture since. I got her earlier this spring/summer and started trail riding her and she never was fresh or ill about anything, you wouldn't have known she had not been ridden in two years.... (read more) She is pleasant to be around and I have enjoyed trail riding her. I got her to trail ride and show her in Extreme Trail Challenges but so far I have not had time. I am only considering selling her because I am in college and have too many horses. Since I have owned her I have ridden her on the arena, trails and roads. She rides well at the walk/trot/cater and backs well. She has a very soft moth compared to other mules I have ridden. She will neck rein or plow rein. I even like to ride her bareback. She does well being in a stall or out in the pasture, and I have not had any trouble with her getting along with the other horses (I think they are still trying to figure out what she is lol). I have worked with her on dragging small logs and using the rain slicker on her(I did this to prepare her for showing in Trail challenges). She has been around cattle, goats, dogs and farm equipment. She leads easily, stands tied, loads/unloads and stands to be saddled. I would recommend her for an intermediate or experienced rider only because before I started riding her earlier this spring/summer she had set in a pasture for two years. I think she could easily become a great youth/kids mule with a few more rides because of her personality, willingness and temperament. She has had ground work and round penning work done with her as well. She is ready to hit the trails now or with a little more fine tuning she would be a looker in the show pen! She is a very pretty headed and horsey looking mule, everyone notices her. I don't want to sell her because I enjoy her but I have too many others I need to be working with and with school it is difficult. She will only go to a good home! You can call me at 812-698-7075 and I would love to tell you everything about her. You can also text me and I would be happy to send photos showing her conformation and other riding photos. I have her priced at $1500 but I am willing to consider reasonable offers for her to go to a good home. Feel free to call and set up a visit to meet her as well! Please only contact me through my cell number, if you email or use the add response I will not be able to reply because I wont have access to it. Thanks
