Roll is a 2yr old Hanoverian colt. He was born 2/17/05 as an embrio transplant and was 11 hands at birth. He was nursed by his adopted mother at Nandi Farms in New Freedom, Pa and was picked up as a weanling to come live in CT with his real mother, Anouk. She is a Grand Prix level dressage mare that Kathy Connelly assisted me in purchasing in Holland. Roll's father Rosario, is an Oldenburg stallion out of the legendary Rubinstein I. Rosario completed the 30-day test with a total of 8.11 and was Oldenburger Landes champion in 2002. When looking for a stallion for Anouk, Toine Hoefs, a top breed judge in Holland and partner of Kathy Connelly suggested the match. Roll has a 2nd place in the yearling class at Kasson Ridge in 2007 which is the only show record as of yet. In 2007 he also attended the Frenk Jespers Clinic sponsored by NEDA at Ten Broeck Farm and the Hilda Gurney Clinic put on also by NEDA at UMass. She gave him a 8.2 overall.
