Additional Comments:
Mancini Martini (Marty) is a four year-old dappled grey
thoroughbred that stands 15 hands tall. Marty
was officially retired from racing November 2007, and
spent the winter unwinding from the racetrack and
learning how to be a horse. This spring, Marty was
started back under saddle and is currently going walk,
trot, canter and is being introduced to ground poles. He
is such a kind horse that seems pretty unimpressed by
everything going on around him. He has a soft and willing mouth and the beginnings of a frame already! Marty is very sound, and we think he will make a cute little pony club mount or Hunter. We think Marty's ideal home is with a small adult or a 12-
14 year-old rider. His rider needs to be confident, and
already working with a trainer. Although Marty is in
training, and will continue to be in-training until he is
adopted, he is still green and is not suitable for a
beginner rider. To find out more about adoption and more about Marty,
