Additional Comments:
I’m trying to locate an Andalusian cross (REGISTERED Iberian Sporthorse, AWS, & Spanish Norman registries!) I once owned and trained a couple years back. It seems that Dusty (registered as The Last Crusade) has fallen into poor hands and has been bouncing from home to home rather then being given the "forever home" the buyers that purchased him agreed to when they signed and had notarized the purchase agreement. Dusty was said to have gone up to Connecticut where he competed between Wellington and that northern circuit in dressage and hunters. However it seems Dusty's last home was an unknown rescue (as in NEVER heard of!) group in the DeLand region of Florida.
Dusty is a 16.2/16.3 12 to 13 year old light Dappled gray gelding. He's EXTREMELY stout and well put together! Most notably Dusty has a small scar between his pec muscles where he encountered a paddock fence trying to be a barn buster which he may or may not still have (he weighs AT LEAST 1400 lbs) and is missing one front tooth on his top jaw that he came to me with. He also has a strange calcification on the underside of his bottom jaw back towards the cheek bones on those "bars". Dusty is NOTED for having respect issues when he figures he can boss you around and I'm 99% sure he's been thrown around because of this! This can spell DISASTER for this beautiful horse if he's not in a set work program with turnout as he gets extremely bored extremely easily and responds BEST to natural horsemanship type programs (he's also a Parelli games SUPERSTAR!). Without proper management and handling this horse can be downright violent and dangerous! The original purchaser KNEW this prior to the completion of the sale and promised that everything would be just fine and she knew just how to keep him happy.
IF you come across a horse matching this subscription PLEASE call me at 561-313-1676 and notify me of the whereabouts of this gelding! This horse is 10++++ mover with a stunning disposition under saddle and a 10++++ personality on the ground provided he's not left to stall sour or man handled! AMAZING jumper and DOES NOT deserve this fate!
Thank you.
