A photocopy of her registration papers are included in the link to craig's list attached to this ad in addition to a photo of her last year's foal that won 2007 weanling futurity in Kentucky......just an excellent well-rounded mare. 10 yrs old, 15.3h, dark liver chestnut with two hind socks, and a diamond shaped star. She is UTD on all of her shots with a current negative coggins, and new simple flat shoes all the way around. (Even with flat on and no gimmicks, she still moves/gaits/racks beautifully!). Low maintenance, easy keeper. She clips, bathes, loads, and stands perfectly still for farrier and vet! Very respectful horse with exceptional ground manners! Shown in hand by original owner as a weanling and won futurity, and has also been a successful broodmare producing 4 incredibly high-headed, high-stepping foals over the last 6 years. Last year's Feb. foal (I Saw My Shadow) won the 2007 ASHA Weanling Futurity in Kentucky (also pictured in the attached link, with ribbon on halter). She is 5-gaited, Parks on command, can drive a cart (but doesn't love doing it), rides English very nicely with a simple O-ring snaffle, D-ring snaffle or full-cheek snaffle, which ever you prefer, and still carries her head like the Knight on a Chessboard. She takes nicely to very simple, subtle commands, and is currently learning western for a more relaxed rider, if desired. She does not require a heavy or harsh hand/rider-just an experienced one. She is sharp, honest and willing. Just an amazingly fast learner! Smartest horse I have ever worked with.
It is of UTMOST importance that she go to a good home! Buyer must be familiar with and love Saddlebreds. No traders, dealers, or carriage drivers please! No exception! Could be trained as a schooling horse with just a little work. Can WTC on the rail when asked to, in addition to her many other talents! Very willing girl.
